Farmers Insurance Muse Communications adds to the list of Multicultural Marketing Partner

Farmers Group, Inc the nation’s third-largest personal lines property and casualty insurance group, strengthened its leadership position among the nation’s multicultural consumers with the selection of Muse Communications to be its marketing partner targeting the African-American consumer segment. Muse now joins Farmers’ other multicultural marketing partners, Accentmarketing, which focuses on the nation’s Hispanic consumers and IW Group, which spearheads the company’s efforts targeting the Asian consumer segment.

As the agency of record for the African-American market, Muse Communications will develop an integrated marketing program, which includes broadcast, digital and promotional elements. Muse will also provide support for Farmers’ marquee event, the Farmers Insurance Group Angel City Classic in Los Angeles, an event that enhances awareness of the cultural and educational opportunities offered at America’s historically black colleges and universities.

Farmers commitment to diversity is also evident through its support of numerous business and community organizations, including the Association for the Study of African American Life and History, the Los Angeles Black Business Expo, the United Negro College Fund, the Bud Billiken Parade, and many others. In addition, Farmers will honor and celebrate Black History Month through a series on the Fox Sports Network, of televised vignettes featuring African-American notables.
